I'm staying away from it. That's just asking for a ninja attack.

I'll also miss out on being stabbed to death by people in form-fitting burkas.

By the way, what Pirate Festival?

The Portland Pirate Festival!
I went to the first one two years ago, and it was pretty cool, but now it's the third one, and it's even better!!!

And with that amount of Pirates about, no ninja will DARE come near!

It's also the weekend after 'speak like a pirate' day. Unless you count Friday as weekend? Then it would be SLAP day.

HungryMonkey and I were thinking about going. We figured we'd invite Meister, Pixel, and the rest of the group and try to make a day of it.

Bah. Where's the Ninja Festival?
We're even on days (SLAP day and SLAN day), but now (well, not just now, but you know what I mean) pirates have a FESTIVAL?
Blimey.

Cool!

I'm only gonna be there for a little bit, so it probably won't happen, but it's a cool idea.
I don't know what any of you look like, it's quite funny....

actually, I'm drawing a picture with all of our Bifftars. I'll post it when I'm done.

NOOOO! I cannot do both! And as much as I would hate to disappoint Hungry Monkey, I can't in good conscience go pirating while the Chalk Art Festival is in town.

I think she's prefer it to be someone she knows. Or at LEAST a girl.

I'd say a at least gay guy, but those are already overrepresented in this forum's demography anyway.

What? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with non-heterosexuality, just that there's a greater proportion of such-inclined people in our little microcosm than in the world. The same could be said for females. And angsty teens. And cartoonists. And people with diagnosable mental illnesses.

DANG, Chris. Your forum attracts ENTIRELY the wrong sort of people.

That was a joke, of course. Sheesh.

non-heterosexuality is distinguishable from homosexuality in that it encompasses a- and bi-sexuality as well as homosexuality. As someone whose signature professed an open bisexuality, I figured you'd get that.
