I'm surprised that there aren't any topics about this. If there are then sorry.
Anywho, what are your favourite books? series of books?
I like ASOUE, Harry Potter, Discworld most of all. Awful End is good too.

Douglas Adams is a great author. I like Hitch-hiker's guide, but the film wasn't as good.
I also like Time's eye. It's an odd science-fiction that I borrowed a while ago from the library.

I don't have nearly the time to read I would like any more, but Terry Pratchett is still my god.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
Quite possibly the best book of all time. I also like all the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and anything by Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express being one of the true classics. Terry Pratchett is indeed a god.

[GLaDOS voice] It's true! [/GLaDOS voice] Adrian Mole series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Harry Potter, Prowlers, Artemis Fowl, SNAP, and probably a lot more that I can't think of right now. I can't recall ever reading a book of my choosing that I didn't like.

Yup. But I couldn't find the right books at the right time, so I ended up reading them in a completely random order, unless I could manage to find two or three consecutive books.

I know [about Pratchett's Alzheimer's]. I was devastated when I first heard. Fortunately, they seem to have caught it early, and may be able to hold it off for some time. I had better get a new Death novel before he loses his mind.

At least he didn't up and DIE halfway through a book like Douglas Adams did. I shall never know who Dirk Gently was following!!! NEVER! *crys*
Anyways, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is good, but I liked the sequel just as much. For those of you who don't know, that one is "the long, Dark, teatime of the soul." It has a bunch of Norse gods in it, and I'm always one for mythology.
What are the title's of the death novels? I'm gonna look for them.

That one isn't a very good one to start on. Although I do suppose it would be better than "The End".
