I'm not even sure Chris knows this. Biff is being nominated for a Webcartoonist's Choice Award for Outstanding Single Panel Comic. Here's the link if you don't believe me. http://ccawards.com/2008finalists.html Sorry, but only Chris and his colleagues can vote. Sad

Having read a decent sampling of all the single panel comics, I have to say: Biff should totally win. Go Biff!

Also, Girl Genius is of a superior nature. Go Foglios!

It's weird how XKCD keeps getting nominated in this category. It's a good comic but it's only something like 25% single panels.

I feel sad, because I've actually read over half of all of the comics already.

Well I'm sure SMBC or XKCD will win. It's hard to compete when those comics have such a huge audience compared to me.

I hate it when a quality product gets snuffed by a name brand. Everyday I creep closer and closer to an indy punk type of guy. Oh well, best man won I guess.

I'm quite surprised by that to be honest, it's funny, but it's not that funny.

Right now in terms of traffic I believe XKCD is in the top 3 of all webcomics.

Yeah. Next year, we shall organize the Biffarmy to attack Biff's competitors at their weakest point: the forums.

I'm quite amazed by that... I mean the amount of times it isn't funny outweighs the funny times greatly.

While this may sound like a 'You're all winners!!!' moment, I really mean it: the fact that, while you were beaten by a comic I hold mild distaste for, you were nominated at all is important. It means you're being noticed, and probably gave you a slight readership boost. How are website hits looking?

I think the last 2 weeks of December and the first 2 weeks of January are down for most everyone. A lot of people that read webcomics do so from work/school.
