This has potential, actually (and it is Biff).
Here we make cards to make into the book of Biff deck

This isnt Biff but its funny

I had a simillar idea for my comic, but decided against it because
1) I thought it would be needlessly complicated
2) I didn't have enough 'stuff' to make into cards
3) I thought that it was an over-used 'fad'

We'll need rules of some sort, as well as a template for the cards.

I'll probably get around to making some later... Got loads of templates on my PC form when I made Zelda versions of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

I kinda started a template for the Biff cards, but We can't really design hem with-out rules. Since Dom was on several times for decent lengths last night after we asked how to play, I suggest we make up our own rules.

First thing to decide would be what the objective of the game is. Do we want a dueling game, or what?

That's what I assumed, but I'd be glad to see a few creative alternatives. Perhaps you spend the first X amount of turns making an invention and/or hindering the other's progress, then compete with the inventions at a (randomly drawn) task. I'll throw some examples up later.

That actually sounds like it would be a lot of fun, but designing a card game around that premise would be difficult... We must storm the brains!

3 types of cards are what im adding
Inventor/Player cards.
Spell cards.
Invention cards.

Im just saying what I think the rules ought to be  (not actual)
You start out with drawing 6 cards at the beggining
Draw 1 card per turn
you must play an invention card in the idea area for one turn before you can use it
Spell cards can be played right from your hand

This shall be the image for the spell card, brain storm

The effect would be
Add 3 invention cards from your deck to your hand

Some of those actually sound like decent ideas, but I don't see where spells fit in with the Biff concept.

And you can't steal Brain Storm from Magic: the Gathering.

I've been making some notes, but I don't have any-thing concrete yet; I'll post when I develop some of these ideas.

*Sigh* You're both so disappointing... If you're going to play a dorky card-game, at least make it Magic; having played them both, I can definitively say that Yu-Gi-Oh is WAY too easy and doesn't involve much strategy. It's all a matter of spending a bunch of money on good cards.

Never played Magic. My brother got a deck when I was young (about 4 or 5) and he split it, so that we could play each other. It was so confusing Undecided

Well YEAH; its target demographic is well above the toddler market; Yu-Gi-Oh is basically Magic: Kid'z Edition!!1!

Forgot to mention that I haven't found any M:TG packs in local shops Undecided
Because my local shops suxxor (and I'm not going God-knows-how-far just to buy some cards which none of my friends have, and as such would be a waste of money (because, in my eyes, card games are there to be played, not collected)). But at least they have YGO. Which I happen to enjoy playing, when I get the chance Tongue

I guess I never really liked Yu-Gi-Oh because it's too easy, and there's no rhythm. I've yet to lose a game, even against players much more experienced than myself, deck-building (probably my favorite part of any card-game) is mindless, and there's no restrictions on power; if you're lucky, you can get Rapemon the Invincible out in three turns. The games start out too slowly and finish too quickly, there are too many obscenely powerful cards, and I really hate the art-work.

I like yu-gi-oh and have enjoyed playing it since It first came out.
Magic is another card game that I play and having played them both I find yu-gi-oh to be funner.
In magic you have to remember too many things to be a good player but yu-gi-oh is better for more casual card players.

I don't play trading card games much. I'm a bigger fan of games like Poker, Blackjack, and Solitaire for cards.

I think the backs of the cards should show this comic's image with 'Biff' at the top (in Chris' lettering, of course).
