Heh.
I metaphysically paid you a billion dollars, now you give me everything you own! Cheesy
I wonder if that would have worked...

Then you'd get a metaphysically Bifftastic job, And get a metaphysical $3,000,000,000 a day.

I love metaphysics. That is, until I realize it's all metaphysical.

YES.

We rickrolled a friend of ours....IN THE FUTURE.
We were recording ourselves in a video to give to him once he's graduated collage, and we all decided to start singing and dancing.
IT WAS Bifftastic.

Not in the original sense of the word though...that would be like...I wouldn't be able to SPEAK because of how awe inducing he was...

Cool. I like all the Death books, but Reaper Man is one of my favorites; Mort, being early, isn't quite as good, since Pratchett didn't have the same feel for the characters he does in later books.

Yes...but there are a few things that herald back to this one...for instance, I know that Death likes cats because of your old sig, and there is a scene in the beginning where he is really pissed off about having to get the souls of some drowned kittens...

I'll read reaper man next.

I know; I'm not recommending you read them out of order, I was just commenting that Mort is not his best book.

Reaper Man is great. I just read it over the summer. I love the scene where he's sharpening his scythe.

I do too, but don't get her hopes up. She'll read it as worse than it actually is if you do.

Don't worry, I know what you mean. My friend and I did the same to a different friend of ours when we hyped up sweeney todd too much. By the time she actually saw it, she was rather disappointed.

Bah. My friends had been singing the praises (and soundtrack) of that movie for four months before I saw it, and I still thought it was fantastic.

Hah....We hardly 'mentioned' it. We completely fangasmed over Alan Rickman And Johnny Depp, sang the songs whenever they came to us (which was a lot) and told her over and over again that she absosmurfly HAD to see it because it was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

I am actually a poorly disguised fangirl.
