And hey, as long as the government isn't using that three trillion dollar surplus to make things in their country a little bit better, why don't they give it to us? It'll fill up our three trillion dollar hole quite nicely.

The three-trillion-dollar hoel we're in is because we're spending money we don't have. We can only spend it by borrowing it from other countries. Like China.

I read somehwhere that China hoards US money, and they have so much of it stacked up in their treasury that if they ever released it, the value of the dollar would plummet like a stone.

Or the US could just say that China's money doesn't count. It would probably be better for everyone, unless it started a shooting war.
