Dom, you are making far too many threads. But this one does sound like fun, so I'll make the first team.

Roxas, Cloud, Samus, Link, Kirby, Cecil, Kain, and Mr. Game & Watch.

This is Team Master.

You included Ichigo in the The Mighty? That sweetened-caramelized-sugar-confection-posteriored female-sex-organ couldn't fight off a cold, much less some-thing macroscopic. Not to mention that Tetsaiga-esque butter-knife he wields screams of compensation on so many levels, I couldn't even list them with the aid of an un-abridged psychological dictionary.

And OOOH! Master Chief! A cyborg named John! Scary! Now comes complete with the Bifftastic abilities of pistol-whipping, a lackluster control scheme, and, best of all, a fanbase consisting almost entirely of over-weight, under-deodorized college-age degenerates with a penchant for tea-bagging. Oh, and let's not forget that the first enemies you encounter continue to pose a threat right up until the end of the game!

Sephiroth... Well, lemme see... A certifiably psychotic sword-fetishist with hair and dress that clearly indicate his sexual preference puts him in the minority, the inability to over-come a blond teen-ager wielding a giant spatula–I mean, sword–, the inability to defeat two Disney characters and a kid wearing a onesie and clown shoes, and an Oedipus complex several times more massive than many planets. Good call.

Giygas. You will be just another meal to him... Unless of course, he's confronted by a group of elementary schoolers and PRAYED at. Heaven forbid– Oh, wait...

Ryu? Why not just say Bob and be done with it? Do you know how many Ryus there are through-out the entire insipid history of anime? Unless you mean Ryu from Breath of Fire, forget it. Dragon or nothing, baby.

So, that leaves Biff, Jiraya, and this Brolly of yours. Well, I have no idea who two of those are, so I'ma just go out on a limb and assume that your judgment is sound here (unless either of them are characters from Dragon Ball Z; then I support their inclusion just to watch them be soundly trounced). Biff, of course, cannot fight on account of being immortal. Plus, most known beings would disintegrate in his presence through sheer dint of not being able to cope with that much awesome-ness at once.

Silf, Silf, Silf. Roxas? As if Sora wasn't bad enough, you had to go and pick Roxas... OOooOOhh, fear my ability to perform an ollie while skate-boarding around performing every-day chores. And if that wasn't sweet enough, I can hit you with this Nerf™™©™©™™™©©™©© bat! Woo!

Cloud. Well, I suppose its better than Sephiroth, but man... There are so many reasons for not picking Cloud that I think I'd have carpal tunnel before I finished listing them all. A few of the more choice ones are: the sword, the fact that his picture appears in the dictionary next to cliché, the fact that through-out the entire game, he continued to show in inborn resistance to 'character development', the sword, the fact that the word bleeehhh~~~ 'bishie' has been applied to him, and the sword.

Link. Well, aside from the fact that he's in the same boat as our man Sephi (and probably loving it. Bless their little gay hearts.), I guess the only thing that I can say is that he seems to spend more time saving the world as a ten-year-old than not, he apparently routinely forgets how to wield his sword, and can't stop the same darn incarnation of evil from repeatedly kidnapping the same princess over and over again. They say, you know, that inability to learn from one's mistakes is one defenition of insanity...

If we're talking Kain from Legacy of Kain, then the only reason I have to be scathing is the fact that the entire series sucked harder than a macro-black-hole. Oh, and he appears to be the most fragile vampire in the history of hematophages, and his personality is just plain grating.

Mr. Game and Watch, eh? Well, I suppose if you think including some-thing so old that even thinking about moving breaks his hip is a good idea, good on you. Of course, this is to say nothing of the fact that he wields bells, man-hole covers, and sausages, he is about two-inches tall, and he HAS NO EYES.

Samus, of course, is Bifftastic, and Kirby is indestructible and adaptable, but who is Cecil? And can any-thing with a name like Cecil really be fighting-worthy?

Kain and Cecil from FF4, one of the best Final Fantasy games, if not the best. Also, I picked Link and Mr. Game & Watch based on their performances on Super Smash Bros. Melee. But, based on your critique, I will make some changes.

Cloud, Samus, Kirby, Kain, Deadpool, Mr. Game & Watch, Dorian Gray, and Franklin Richards.

Plus, I don't really thinf G&W was that great a character in melee, but I guess that's just taste.

Silf, you make me feel like I'm not that big a nerd... And I'm a microbiology major, for Chrissake!

I s'pose I'll create a teem fur the game... Gimme a minute.

Okies: Death, Granny Weatherwax, Angua, Frederic Chopin(in his Eternal Sonata incarnation), Wee Jas, Gogo, Shion Uzuki, and a vial containing sentient and antibiotic-immune strains of small-pox, bubonic plague, and SARS.

I know who two of those people/things are(Death [I assume you mean the one from Terry Pratchett and not the force of nature] and the vial). The other six leave me in puzzlement.

Granny Weatherwax is a Terry Pratchett character widely regarded to be the most powerful witch on the Discworld, alive or dead.

Angua, too, is Pratchettarian, and is a sergeant in the Ankh-Morpork city Watch. She is a were-wolf.

Frederic Chopin is a famous Polish/French composer, whose works were primarily for the piano. He was considered a child prodigy, and was an extremely gifted pianist, in addition to a composer, the reason for his being nomenclatured 'The Poet of the Piano'. He is the main character of the game Eternal Sonata, a recent release (Sept. 22) for the XBox 360.

Wee Jas is, in the D&D pantheon, the goddess of Death and Magic; Lawful Neutral, domains Death, Magic, Knowledge, and Law, and the most awesome D&D god evar.

Gogo was a character in FF3, or FF6j. (S)He was a mysterious, optional character, always shrouded in layers of odd clothing, who spoke literally a sentence or two in the entire game. Gogo was able to mimic the actions perfectly of his(her) companions, including double-casting and character-specific abilities.

Shion Uzuki was the main character in the Xenosaga series. She was a scientist and engineer, as well as gifted in magic or 'Ether'.
