Here's a new game for our forum (as if there weren't enough): Quote battles!
One person posts a quote, and the next person posts a counter-quote.
Example:
User1: "Stop and smell the roses"
User2: "Go for the gusto"
These aren't very good quotes, to be sure, but they're what I could come up with at the time.
Also, they have to be somewhat familiar quotes (meaning, a quote either from a common saying or a somewhat famous person, not your Aunt Rudy), and you have to tell who said it (or in the case of sayings, just tell us that it's a common saying).
I don't know how far this will go, but I hope it catches on.
Hmm... I used the quote I was planning on posting in my example. I'll leave the first one open.
