Chapter: Comics
I had a radio controlled car when I was a kid. The batteries made it very frustrating. It took 8 hours to charge and then ran for about 15 minutes. It always seemed like right when I was just starting to have fun, the batteries would die. I guess those 15 minutes were memorable though, I can still hear the tiny mosquito whine of the motor to this day.

i hated it when that happen… the evil trees ate so many of my awesome kites
oh and short battery life on RC cars was a pain too…
Looks like this is Young Biff/dealing with childhood issues week.
It’ll take more than a ladder to get that out…
@Shorty: I say it’s “green backgrounds week” 🙂
@shorty and garret williams: i think it is some odd combination of the two
deffinitly young biff week, i called it first yesterday!
He remains adorable.
I demand a plushy.
childling biff is awesome! also i guess it’s childhood problems week?
I did that a couple times! Mind you, my rockets were small-ish things, and were hung up in the branches by their parachutes.
I remember when we were little, our parents bought us a fancy RC car, with bits that purposely fell off when it crashed. It was fun until the batteries died after 5 minutes. We were so disillusioned we immediately sent it back for a refund.
I remember never liking those cars for that very same reason lol
@Shorty When did you call it? I called it too.
This caption would also go well with an image of a bicycle stuck in a tree, or a gameboy.
i once got my modified tyco rc stuck in a tree. it was one of those ones you cannot flip, with rings on the back so it would just go back on the wheels. never ran more than ten minutes though.
I never got a kite stuck in a tree, though I did break a miniature helicopter of mine accidentally. I lost a hula hoop to a tree’s depths, only to have it rescued by my brother and get it lost again. I threw frisbees up there, I have not mastered the art of frisbee-ing. My brother also let my pilot his kite on a very windy day, and I was having fun until my hands hurt and I let go. We never saw that kite again, since we were in a big field near the edge of town. I suspect that some farmer or cow has found that kite.
Revenge of Charlie Brown’s kite-eating tree?
Young Biff is so cute!
It took 15 minutes for most of the battery to die, Chris. Then you spent the next 5 mionutes holding the car up and holding the stick forward so the battery would totally die and you didn’t wear it out even more by recharging it while it still had a charge. 😀
Soooooo cute!
lol
I remember putting a C-class engine in an A-class model rocket. Never saw it again. I believe it is in orbit.
I’m agreeing with Drakey on both counts.
Must be “RC time” A few of us around here recently bought helicopters with pretty much the same results that Biff got here.
I shall call him…Mini-Biff
Baby Biff! Aww how cute. That’s an interesting way to get your toy stuck in a tree…
Aw! Little Biff! How many of those rockets does he have? there was one in 133, 243, and 290.
OCHO! I love Biff!
@Paul;
Last time I did that, a fin broke off, the dang thing went wild, and plowed into the ground at about Mach 1. The ejection charge blew the body tube into confetti. Good times! 😀
@random person
Biffrocket appears all the time…it’s even a fishtank decoration.
Okay, this is funny but the head that looks like a light bulb is still getting to me!
Haha… Took me like 5 months but I finally guessed a theme.
I had a radio-controlled toy car when I was a kid that was pretty cool. Except the battery took four hours to charge, and ran out in about twenty minutes. That sucked.
I never had outdoor toys. Mainly because I never really shown much of an interest in the outdoors.
Still, Biff as a kid is pretty funny
There’s a kite in a tree in the backyard across from our backyard. It’s been there for about five years now.
Biff’s childhood week.
Awesome, Biff Jr. week! He looks awesome!
Ah yes, battery lifespan. I feel your pain.
“It can be frustrating when your favorite climbing tree gets destroyed by the neighbor-boy’s toy”
This one made me laugh out loud.
