#697 – Sealed

It’s frustrating when I find a shirt or pair of jeans that I really like. My favorite clothes are the ones that always wear out first. I wish I would realize that I liked them soon enough to get more. It would be great to crack open a package with a brand new preserved copy of my favorite shirt right as the current one was wearing out. I guess if this were possible then we would all still dress the same way we did 10 years ago… although it doesn’t stop some people from trying.

That looks neat! And a bit obsessive-compulsive.

You could always buy back-up copies of all your clothing, Chris.

Whoops…. I read your post too fast and didn’t catch everything. Make that *you should always buy back-up copies of all your clothing*

I’m actually about to order another “Music + Science = Sexy” shirt from QC, because my first one got bleach splashed on it 🙁

I want to visit a butcher store like that 😮

  5. Chris says:

I met a rather eccentric old guy and he invited me up to his place for a quick drink, I agreed and while he was showing me around he said he was going to change, he opened up his closet and he had a dozen black shirts exactly the same and an equal number of black trousers. Frankly it seems to simplify things, no struggling with what to wear for the day.

  6. The Dukenator says:

Is it me or is Biff not wearing any pants? It’s hard to tell.

  7. Heh. Sounds like me. Seven identical outfits hanging in my closet.

More than just the supermarket, it’s the crazy, random supermarket.

    That’s what eBay is for!

  10. Kree says:

I like the fact that all those items available from the butcher are part of Biff’s wardrobe. I guess Biff really likes shopping there.

    one word futurama
those guys never change their clothes

I guess nobody else found it odd that the “Ring for Service” button is on…this side…of the glass?

  13. TigerGulp says:

Waaaaait… if the butcher always has freshly packaged clothes, shouldn’t that bother Biff? Where is the butcher getting these extremely fresh clothes?? Why are they always packaged??? And why is it the BUTCHER that has these clothes and not the local outlet????

Is anyone else bothered by that suspicious blood stain leaking out from under the back door?!?!? O_o

    ……….

Run Biff! Get away! GET AW… *erk*

  14. Wizard says:

Many of my clothes ARE the same ones I wore ten years ago. But then, I’ve spent much of my time for those ten years at work, where I wear a uniform. Amazing how long your clothes last if you don’t actually wear them much.

  15. Cari says:

I bought a back up pair of shoes once, and by the time the first pair wore out, they were out of style…

  16. steve-o says:

    @AdmiralChaos-I think Biff might…be…the butcher

  17. Reg says:

…what is the butcher cutting up to get the underwear?
    o__<

@steve-o: Well if what you say is true about Biff being the butcher, then the answer to my question is probably beyond my scope of understanding… at least until another comic comes out.

  18. Linzleh says:

Ahh yes, Biff is the butcher and this is his modification on standard bureau drawer underwear storage. Brilliant again! Nothing like ripping into a new pkg of Hanes/Fruit of the Loom just throw ’em on and feel great. And guys, find an affordable great sweater/shirt might as well buy several to store or wear. Learned that from by bro who buys a years worth of jeans every January.

“[…] buys a years worth of jeans every January.”

How many jeans dose someone need in a year?

  20. Linzleh says:

    @-2
He works for the phone co. and climbing poles tears up a lot of them, but if you really want to know, the magic # is 4.

  21. -2! says:

    @ Linzleh

okay, I was wondering because personally I go though less then a pair of ANY type of pants a year (yes i have multiple pairs but i need to buy a new one less then once a year)

  22. Linzleh says:

    @-2!
Conservation is key; time, effort, jeans…

  23. Deteramot says:

    @-2!:
I go through my pants about that fast. Oddly enough, I rarely if ever do anything that should damage my pants.

  24. +3¡ says:

I have two pairs of pants.
But I usually don’t wear pants… I wear shirts on my legs.

Which usually leads to me having an absence of shirts.

  25. -2! says:

    @+3¡
Seriously you look like you stole my user name…

Wait I think i know who you are …wait that say shirts not shorts o_O

Okay you’re definitely that person, we were joking about that earlier today… In that case….

    I agree!!!

  26. Elkian says:

    *twitch* the IMPLICATIONS…
