#463 – Twang

I’ve never gone hunting. I’d probably be pretty useless if I had to kill my own food. I think the only thing I’m good at is finding the expired food at the back of the pantry.

Working on the bonus comics for Book 2 today and it’s weird. I keep thinking of stories to post on the website for them… and than remember that they are for print only. 🙂

  16. Rystar says:

    @Tafreer

I think they would work better as helicopter wings

  17. Jackson says:

It took me a second to figure out too. The best things in life take effort and hard work, but they are worth working for.

  18. Gobbledegook says:

Impressive… I didn’t realize Biff was the son of MacGuyver.
For his next trick, I’d love to see him turn that bow into a canoe.
    🙂

  19. Oh! I get it now… Yeah that was a bit hard to follow…

  20. Magical Nurse Ban says:

That would be very handy at work. (^_^)v

I think maybe today’s comic isn’t actually funny… but I really liked the drawing that I did so I decided to still run it. 🙂

  24. C'ntarek says:

thats good, took me a little over a second

first time post, long time reader, hi everybody^_^

  25. Zulu says:

I love this comic!!! I got it right away, maybe, because I lie doing this sort of thing. Because nothing tastes better than rabbit stew killed with a shoelace bow. 😀

  26. Chivalrybean says:

I like it, and I got it. I think I can easilly follow the strange logics that Biff strips have, since I think up strange things as well.

I have an archery story. I took an archery class one time. They had bales of haw with targets of animals on them, complete with the proper zone to hit if you actually were hunting them.

I don’t know if I ever managed to hit a target, but I know I was very a poor aim.

Between four of the bales of hay was a small gap, smaller than any zones on that target, One time, I aimed for it.

That’s right folks, my arrow went straight and thru, right through the hole.

    Go fig.

  27. Laje Kahr says:

Once I got it, I laughed. hehe.

  28. Lisa says:

Biff is the kind of guy that can draw a hole and use it.

  29. ZJ says:

I don’t get it…still, good job with the comic chris! it’s awesome!

  30. Nikanaiko says:

Is… Is… Is it a bulls-eye? *confused as all hell*

  31. Anne says:

Oh now I get it. wow…that took me a while.

  32. Graceofbass says:

Lol, I had to look at it for a minute, then I saw his shirt and understood. My husband and I are actually really into archery, we both have our own bows and he is the TA for the archery classes at our university. Your picture is actually pretty accurate, I appreciated that. I’m bothered when artists draw a bow and it’s completely wrong. yay for biff!

  33. BradSK88 says:

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooow, that took way too long. He used the stripes as a bowstring… Christ.

  34. MaskedMan says:

Got this one instantly. I don’t always manage that trick, though.

  35. PlutoBum says:

gah….i still don’t get it. will someone please explain? T_T

  36. Kitsunie says:

Thaaaaaaat took awhile for me to get. Wow. XD Subtle.

  37. Koer says:

    Oh! The stripes… Bowstring… I lol’d.

  38. pieman says:

when i first saw it, i thought it had something to do with looking like a tree lol
took me quite long to get it, but i’ve got it now! 😀

  39. pieman says:

    oh, and hi c’ntarek!

  40. Cthulcantspell says:

He made the string out of his stripe, the bow staff out of twigs, where’d he get the arrow?

  41. Curly says:

wow, that one took me a second to figure out

  42. Lich King says:

*snaps frozen fingers* know i get it! u must do more like these Chris The Lich King has spoken!

  43. TheAlchemyst says:

Wow, that one’s clever! Took me a minute ^_^

  44. Amake says:

    That’s a big damn bow.

Just thought that had to be pointed out.

  45. Miles says:

At first, I was thinking along the lines of Tiger Stripe camo. That didn’t seem to make any sense, I noticed the shirt, and the dotted lines where the stripe had been removed, then I looked more closely at the whole image. Then I got it, he was using his shirt stripe as the bow string.

  46. Twigs says:

Biff Fashion Week is actually probably a lot better than the Milan one. Fewer thongs and less fur.

Also, this reminds me of one of those old woodcut-type illustrations of ye olde heroes of Britain.

  47. YukiSnowflake says:

    WOAH, that took a while!
But, I have to say, GREAT JOB ON THIS PIC!
(today is my CAPS DAY OF THE WEEK! YAY!)

  48. Daniel says:

OHHHH. That took a while for me to get, but was funny when I understood it. He’s using the stripes as a bowstring.

  49. SurveySays says:

it took me a minute bc i was picturing his shirt from an overhead angle and it looks like a bulls-eye. but that wouldn’t …help…so much.
