Chapter: Comics
On my way home from work yesterday I drove through 5 minutes of the heaviest rain I’ve ever experienced. I was on the expressway and the cars went from 65 to 15 MPH in the span of a few seconds. I think part of the problem was that the rain was coming from the side at a sharp angle. The wipers just couldn’t get the rain out of the way. It extra a dicey for me because I don’t normally drive on that stretch of road. But then the rain stopped as suddenly as it started and all the cars around me made it through ok.

those darn melon storms. Of course the weather people can never predict them correctly, like I think there’s a 23% chance of one right now. By the way, first post, maybe? eh I’ll find out when I refresh. Also, I’m glad you’re not dead from a rain induced car accident Chris.
At least the watermelon on his head could serve as a helmet. Here in Denver you can count the number of rainfalls of the year on one hand, and even then they’re cold, thin drizzles that quickly stop or turn to snow. That’s one large reason I love the South.
Same thing happened to me yesterday only about 2 miles of pouring rain. Made it through ok hopefully 3rd post!
Lol, that’s awesome..
Also, I’m glad you didn’t die!
So is the name change permanent? I suppose BIff is a little easier to type… 🙂
Thanks Jon, fixed. 🙂
this is pretty off-topic here, and sorry, but I really want to know if anything happened to the guy at Gone With The Blastwave, he hasnt updated in probably two months and I think he was in his country’s army, Im just wondering if hes ok or just going on hiatus
Blargen-Vargen, well his last post on his forum was May 29. Maybe ask someone in there?
i wonder if this is rageler weathe in biffs mind? whate it culdent be or he wold have a steel reinforsed unbrella.
Oooh, that must’ve hurt Biff’s head…
I’m glad also that Chris didn’t die.
How did Blargen-Vargen know that the guy fom Gone with The Blastwave was in his country’s army?
A significant percentage of body mass is water. The same is true of watermelons. I can’t remember if Biff has ears, but this is the perfect environment for seed germination.
shoop-da-woop- ima firing ma lazers. i felt like doing tat it was fun, the only friut rain i get here is limes and cherries
“all the cars around me made it through ok.”
But what about your car?
Melon storms. Lol. I guess now is a bad time to say don’t eat the seeds…;)
with a lil hail thrown in that watermelon storm would be granita-licious
WATERMELLLON! =D
I bet that tastes good…
More importantly, seedless or not?
WATAHMELLON!
Gallagher would approve!
Did the conception of this comic have anything to do with the comment someone left on the one about the orange peeler?
I think I may have mentioned before, but when I was in Denver this summer, we had a HUGE storm. We were in our groups van on the freeway, and there was dead cars EVERYWHERE! And as you might know, Denver is at the same elevation as most clouds. That was cool lightning.
Where are you, brows?
So does the melon storm come before or after the pencil rain?
Raining cats and melons, huh?
BLff?
Well he’s sure going to have melon hair.
At least they werent horse chestnuts. Those could kill you.
omg, thats like when i was 10 or something like that, and I was on my way home from school. It was a half hour walk, and it started raining. At first it was OK, but By the time I got to my street, the rain was FLOODING the streets, and it had almost gone over the step and under the door to my house!
Luckily it stopped soon after it started.
