Normally I’m in a house with 3 other people and a dog. Recently I was in the house by myself for days in a row. I was kind of startled by how many sounds I would hear that I previously had assumed were created by someone in one of the other rooms. Ghosts? Phantoms? Squirrels?

If you live in an apartment, you’ll get used to hearing a lot of different sounds (my neighbor’s lonely dog is driving me insane with its howling, for example), but the funniest sound that I hear regularly must be the sound of our fridge… Sometimes the fridge will make a rattling sound, like a metal bowl getting dropped on the floor. Both mom and I will usually say that there’s a ghost in the fridge!

I moved to a new server yesterday so the DNS change didn’t propagate to where you are yet or the old server is still cached in your web browser/ISP.
The main page is usually accessed by me via a bookmark. (Hooray for bookmarking Biff!) Um, anyways, when I got home tonight, it was all fixed.
Phantom Ghost Squirrels!
Once in my in-laws house I heard something in the walls while I was sitting on the throne. Turns out there was a squirrel that came in through the attic and got trapped between the walls.
