Chapter: Comics
When I moved away to go to college I freaked out when I realized I didn’t know how to do my own laundry. I was reading all the tags and trying to decipher all the different instructions. Apparently I would have to do 12 different loads to wash everything correctly? I gradually realized that when your wardrobe is primarily a pair of jeans and some worn out t-shirts it doesn’t really matter. Get them wet and soapy, rinse, dry, done.
Also, Hugs Bison shirts are back in stock!

Wait until you discover “hand wash only” infants clothing. WHY DOES SUCH A THING EXIST?!
And then, you can’t have the kid wearing them when you wash them.
I don’t buy any clothes that require separate wash. No reds, almost no whites, no handwash, no dry-clean. If I can’t use the washer as a hamper, I don’t want it!
I haven’t done laundry myself, ever, but we do always wash new clothes before wearing them. It’s just something we’ve always done.
One word: Neutrals
But if you _do_ get something new – and RED – please DON’T wash it with all those old white skivvies, unless you never get seen in them in public (or you don’t mind the ribbing – PINK SKIVVIES!!! HAHAHA!!!)
I only hear stories like this from boys. Apparently someone is giving all the laundry to their daughters.
I’ve had something like this happen. My sandals are made out of this blue leather. Every time I walk on wet grass with them on, they dye my feet blue.
Had something similar happen with a blue bath towel once. I got out of the shower and dried off, only to end up looking like the world’s largest Smurf.
