I’ve probably seen the opening scene from Star Wars more than any other film. Taking into account how many times I watched it as a kid and considering how many times I didn’t make it through the whole film for whatever reason. I remember one of the things that fascinated us as kids was in the very first shot of C-3PO there’s another 3PO droid right behind him.
“Hey what? Rewind it, look there’s another one right there! How many C-3POs are there?”
Today’s Maximumble likes it loud.

I hate it when I accidentally put my message in the Recycle Bin.
The silver protocol droid makes another appearance in Empire, on Cloud City – a bit of foreshadowing, since it was obviously captured by the Empire along with the Tantive IV, Leia and everything else on board.
Although, presumably all C-series protocol droids look the same…
Waaaaait, there’s another protocol droid in that first scene, and I never noticed it?
*pulls out DVDs*

One would assume that on a diplomatic mission, one would require the services of many protocol droi— LIES!
