Chapter: Comics
Sometimes I will suddenly become conscious of how hot my feet are. I start to panic and need to get somewhere that I can take my shoes off. Driving a car is not the best location to do this. When they are no longer attached to your feet shoes have a tendency to move around. I think I’m writing another Biff strip in this story.
Today’s Maximumble gets dropped.

You wouldn’t want to be a murderer in those shoes. It would be leaving a set of foot prints for anyone to follow. Unless, of course, you liked murdering people that liked following footprints. But that would be a weird fetish.
Usually when I realise how hot my feet are, it’s a random dash to the shade, or a round of “the-floor-is-lava” in a carpark, trying to stay in the shadows of cars/people.

Coulda used those socks when I was a kid… Lotsa time running about barefoot on *very* hot pavement. Footprints wouldn’t have been all that much different. Didja know hot tar doesn’t come off linoleum very well?
I buy shoes & sandals now that offer good ventilation, and have insulating soles, ’cause I hate overheated feet.
i hate hot shoes but not as much as hot helmets i actually sprained my ankle because of a hot helmet
My usual upper limit for wearing shoes is about 10-12 hours. My feet get all anxious after that long confined. I take ’em off as soon as I get home from work. My doc told me not to go barefoot because as a diabetic, I have to take really good care of my feet. I have a couple pairs of houseshoes handy at all times for homebound adventuring.
Would make for some mean roundhouse kicks…
also, does anyone else use Google Reader for the RSS feed? For the past few days, i only get the drawing part of it showing up there, and no punchline… its odd.
aaaaand JUST read the disclaimer on the bottom of the last few feed posts… Makes sense, and TOTALLY not angry about it. I just need to remember to click it and actually hit the site now! Havent lost any interest from me, Chris!
Thanks Will!
biff wouldn’t have nomex and kevlar socks?
