I’ve worked at a few places now where I sit at a computer all day facing a wall or a corner with a wide open space behind me. If anyone wanted to come speak to me they really had no choice other than sneaking up behind me. It wasn’t too long before I could identify all the usual suspects by their walking or breathing patterns. If I asked them to stop by later to talk about a certain project I would open it up on my screen and have it ready for review by the time they got to my desk. “How’d you know it was me?” asked the foot shuffler that always had $5 in quarters in his pockets.
Also, come see me this weekend at NEWW2! Bring tiny pumpkins and I will draw on them.

Day one. The Mummy?
The picture got me laughing long before I scrolled down and looked at the caption.
I do that too, but it’s usually the breathing patterns and keys for me. There’s one person I know that breathes like Darth Vader. I know them especially because they DO tend to read everything I’m typing.
The caption hit too close to home (Oh, there are other reasons behind that) for me to find it funny, but the picture had me laughing for a full 5 minutes besides.

I guess he must be really good at touch typing.
I could never manage that. I’m a fast typer but when it comes to the amount of time I spend deleting or fixing what I’ve just typed it decreases my scores. In this post alone I’ve made 9 mistakes and gone back to fix them.

@Mister Disco – Same here! I usually make mistakes permanently – Her are some of the typos i use often – thye, epsidoes and Vaughan.
