#1140 – Jelly

After drawing this I dug out my winter coat to see what was in it. A pair of gloves, a hat, a mint, a moist towelette, a pair of 3D glasses and an unused pair of disposable chopsticks.

Book 5 arrives this week! Free sketches run out the day the truck gets here!

    Unfortunate discoveries week?

  2. Ray A. says:

Best case scenario: you find money in one of those pockets. It’s happened to me twice that I remember.

This had me laughing for a good 5 minutes

    @N – Awesome 🙂

I kid you not! I have done something very similar except it involved a bag of saliva (thank god it was closed) that I was supposed to bring to my doctors office because I had a throat infection the previous year. My family laughed at me when I went “AUGH! OH GROSS! I JUST STUCK MY HAND IN A BAG OF SPIT!”

Bahaha that had me laughing for ages, because it was something I’ve done before with lunchboxes xD

I can’t use chopsticks, Chris. According to everyone, they’re ‘easy’ to use, but I just can’t do it.
If I had those 3D glasses today, you would’ve saved me a dollar 😛

After a warm, humid summer in a jacket designed to keep people warm at 40 degrees below zero… Reese’s.

Yaaay, this is true story! Some years ago I took my winter jacket from a wardrobe, after 6 or 7 months. In its pockets I found 500 Kč note (approximately 30 dollars) and a slice of pizza in aluminium foil. The pizza looked edible and very well preserved and was not moldy at all, but I did not eat it though.

My friend once found a piece of chocolate from the year before, AND ate it… tasted like normal apparently and he didnt get sick 😀

Coat Pockets, even more powerful than pyramid power. Can keep things fresh and moist in the closet for years.

I like it when I remember that I never bought that soda from the vending machine and I now have a dollar to spend.

    Ewww.

Similar events when cleaning out the trunk of a car… though I have also found hidden treasures long thought lost. Kind of an archaeological expidition, with booby traps.

1992 was the year Douglas Adams published Mostly Harmless, the last original Hitchhiker book, in which Arthur Dent had settled into a life as the revered Sandwich Maker, until it was rudely disturbed by Ford Prefect’s unfortunate discovery of The Guide MarkII. 1992 also happened to occur 500 years after the unfortunate “discovery” of America.
So… Shadows of the past? Last week and yesteryear.

I found an old bottle of milk tea in my back pack from 5th grade, and i am in 9th right now, so i had a curdled chai tea latte in the bottle, and i am so afraid that i a zombie will come out if i open it

Yeah, we moved abouy two weeks ago and we found my first lunchbox from when I was in first grade. Back then I had a habit of only half-eating my food. I had a crust from a pbj sandwich and half a thermos of milk. I also had some apple slices left. I think. I’m not 100% sure about the accuracy of my guess. I didn’t open it.
Anyway, we found it and I was overcome by a sense of horror and I think some nausea. Especially since I’m a Junior in high school now. Cue the horror music.

I found my missing garage door opener. Thanks!

Mine just had a slightly used tissue instead of the pair of wristwarmers I’ve spent a week looking for.

I have 3 winter coats because my aunt is off her rocker and always thinks I need a new one. Sometimes I switch coats now. I once “lost” a bunch of Christmas and birthday money and found it a few weeks later in one of my coat pockets.
