Chapter: Comics
Our little dog doesn’t get to run much. We don’t have a fenced in yard and so when we take her out on a leash it’s for a nice leisurely walk. Unless there is a giant bumblebee dive bombing my head. Then I will make an exception and take the dog on a blisteringly fast and erratic through many of our neighbor’s yards.

interesting pencil i wish i had one of those for my birth day for writing my list of stuff i want
either that or for sliding under my sisters pillow before bedtime
A blisteringly fast and erratic what now?
I barely dodged a dive-bomb from a massive bumble bee yesterday. I was sitting at this park bench that’s in front of my workplace chatting with someone, and I swear I did this ninja-reflex-power-dodge-swoop to avoid this gigantic bee that came from nowhere straight at my head. At least I think it was a bee. I was too busy having a heart attack to notice much else besides the massive size of the thing. :/
Sorry, but this soapbox has taken me over. When I was in Guatemala years ago, the family I stayed with was having a birthday party. They asked me to translate the sticker on a strawberry scented eraser. It said “Do not eat. This is not candy.” Toy manufacturers dump stuff like that in other markets when it gets banned for obvious reasons here.
We now return control of the lighter side of Biff’s world to the eye of the beholder. Adjust the horizonal, the vertical, the color intensity… Whatever.
Or probably I should have said: …when they fear lawsuits for obvious reasons. Meanwhile… this pencil, if it is designed to do exactly what it looks like it is designed to do, is probably already covered by a number of existing local ordinances and state laws.
When I was a kid, my uncle had this great black dog. Me and my brother would often take it for a walk if we were at their place, and I’d love to run with it.
That is, until one time I was looking at the dog while running and ran straight into a lamp post. There was a lot less running during those walks after that. 🙂
on a slightly related note, i can now get stuff done faster, as I have upgraded from an optical mouse to a tablet with a wireless mouse included!
UNRELATED NOTE!:
I put the link to The Holy Book (*TBoB*) in a bio of myself on a few websites saying how amazing it is and how others should read it.
Good luck getting new readers, chris!
‘Splodey pencils make life much more invigorating.
Pencil of dreams… the motivator, “Procrastinators Friend”
Dude. I could’ve totally used that pencil. I’d have given it to the moochers whom never brought one of their own to class…
My dogs kill and eat bees. Dunno why – they’re weird like that. Hence I never need dodge bees of any nature. Though I do sometimes have to duck the random flying dog.
😀
Reminds me of literally yesterday – I was opening the shed door to refuel the lawnmower and I see a wasp’s nest in the right-hand side. I yell out “HOLY CRAP” loud enough to hear my own echo and run as fast as I can back to the house holding the lock in my hand and swatting my shoulder for wasps.
I bought DEET and a baseball bat later that day.
I don’t usually run from the giant zeppelin like bumble-bees that visit Mom’s garden every now and again. I watch them from a respectable distance because they’re slow moving and cute. It’s the small fighter jet looking ones that send me away from them in an what can only be called a ‘coordinated seizure’.
