Dust is a weird thing. It seems to sneak up on me. I never seem to notice a small amount of dust on something, it’s either nice and clean or suddenly an inch thick. Especially under the couch or in the corners of the stairs. Dust bunnies are very sneaky creatures.

I have an image, now, of Biff leaving traps to try and catch the dust bunnies…
If you put the bat down for a second, it too will attact dust.
T.S, I can just see the dust bunnies hopping around, going “My, that’s an attractive vase…” *snap* 🙂

The vase somehow reminds me of a beanbag. And this is me saying this at 2am in the morning on a Monday.

Just threatening doesn’t work with furniture. You have to make an example out of one of them.

I don’t pay close enough attention to my room, since I’m never in it anyway, so I’ll finally get around to cleaning up and find over an inch or two of dust behind the dresser or something. It gets pretty bad in there…

He should threaten the dust directly. It’s not the vase’s fault the dust finds it so attractive!
[Rikapuppy]: Now I’m picturing Biff’s brows with such a THICK dust-coating that they look like the antennae of a MOTH! Or perhaps the dust could hang off of Biff’s brows like Spanish Moss hangs off a tree’s branches! And THAT”S how Biff dusts the AIR ITSELF – with just a stroll thru each room, gathering more-&-more dust as he goes!!!

…except that it has sucked-up the vase & reduced it to shards…
…& left behind a “vase-shaped”, translucent, hollow shell…
…made entirely of dust…
Agreed, Chris; dust makes me feel dirty, so I get anal about it sometimes. Perhaps Biff’s idea is a step in the right direction, heh.
This is my first posting here. I stumbled across “The Book of Biff” about a week ago, and I haven’t found a single un-funny one yet! Chris Hallbeck is a comic genius, and I don’t care who hears me say it!
This particular one was funny because my wife and I would love to see if the method worked – it has to be less tedious and time-consuming than actual dusting!

Sometimes threats don’t work. Sometimes something needs to be made an example of. Biff knows what he must do.

Biff is making sense. I always use hammers to threaten computers with. If they go wrong they get smashed up. They never do it a second time. Smash the vase up and it won’t attract dust again ever.

The furniture must think he won’t actually do it. Looks like he’ll have to set an example…I recommend he start with the vase. That’ll show them who’s boss.

I threatened my furniture with a squirt gun. I ended up shooting it and washing away the dust.

I live on a dirt road. Every time someone drives by, a new layer of dust is added to everything.
