Chapter: Comics
Unless you dust things on a specific schedule, it’s amazing how it can build up. I’m hilariously allergic to dust so I have to put on a mask whenever I want to clean or vacuum or move furniture. The main problem with my system is that when I finally start… it never ends. Oh look at the corners of the ceilings… better get along those baseboards… behind the TV is looking neglected… better pry up these floorboards and see what we’re really dealing with.

You’ve got to wonder, is Biff too old to trick-or-treat?
@Crimson2regret
In a suit like that? Never.
It’s like a really weird BigBird costume… made for people with large eyebrows.
With as big as most costumes seem to be these days, It sure seems that way.
When I was a kid, we went trick-or-treating all the way through High School. Now where I live, if the kids are over 12 it’s frowned upon. Can anybody make sense of that?
@Baughbe– I trick-or-treated until I was 17 and no one said anything to me. Now that I’m “old” (20 ha) I stay home and hand out candy, and my rule is simple: it doesn’t matter if you’re a todder, kid, or teenager, if you’ve got a costume, you get candy. No costume, no candy.
And I would definitely give Biff extra candy since he has a fantastic costume. Big Bird is awesome.
I only stopped trick or treating in junior high because none of my friends did it anymore. We give candy to teenagers as well.
My parent’s home hasn’t be remodeled since it was built in the late 19th century, so you can just imagine the unbelievable dust build up there is. Plus, we own a dog. When I visit home from school, I wear an allergy mask nearly 24/7.
You successfully made me laugh with your blog and the comic O_o
Okay, I’m mentioning it, it’s just so annoying. That window has always looked like a painting to me, and unless I missed one specific comic and this is a carry-on, is it meant to look like that?
@Gwid – I’m not sure it matters if it’s a painting or a window. It’s mainly there as a design element to balance the composition. To be fair though, I do draw them as “picture frame” windows rather than the style most people would have in the place they live.
@gwid – maybe its a picture frame PRETENDING to be a window! Or a window, PRETENDING to be a picture frame!
…dont ask what im going on about, i only just worked out that it even LOOKS like a pictuire frame!!!111one
I’m a new reader, currently still reading 2008, and where is the duck. I liked how he was Canadian, just like me.
The Din has made a huge din.
ALSO!:
Is it just me, or does the costume make him look small…?
(*small-short, not small-mini*)
Okay, then. I thought it was something like that.
@ Yuki – Yes, Biff does look remarkably shorter in that suit. Maybe he layed an egg so big it made a dent in his floor… And then he ate the egg and he’s standing in it. And I got what you were talknig about with the “window-in-disguise-but-actually-a-painting” thing. That was my original thought.
You know, Chris, this is very irritating. How am I supposed to get a hold of American money to buy the books? I live in Australia 😛
@Gwid – PayPal. People buy stuff from Australia all the time.
@Baughbe I’m seventeen. Stopped trick-or-treating a couple years back because I’ve been getting crap about it–not from my peers, from adults handing out the candy!–since I was about twelve.
Yeah, I think it’s crap too. As soon as I get to college I’m trick-or-treating again.
I’m 21, and the only thing that prevented me from Going Trick-or-Treating last year was work. and even then, random customers gave me candy. I’m going this year, dressed as Tron from the original 1985 movie.
I know what it is like to have to wear a facial mask to dust or vaccuum. I can’t do that at work though. It often triggers asthma attacks.
Dusting, I mean.
I’m easily irritated by pollen which makes venturing outside a threat to my person for about 9 months out of the year. I’m allergic to various grasses and pollen from trees. Some days, I think it would be best if I invested in masks for my delicate system.
