Please. Please. Please. Stop buying greeting cards with glitter glued to them. This is the only way that they will stop selling them. We have to be united!

    I work in retail. I know this tragedy. I call it the Jolly Virus. Main symptoms include sparkling ‘rash’, glittery nose and in rare cases, holiday spirits.

    Oh god, this is perfect. I hate glitter. It gets everywhere, and just when you’ve think you’ve washed it all off…
    You put your fingers anywhere near your eyes within 2 weeks of being near glitter, and you suffer for it…
    Glitter is evil…

    I work at a craft store and glitter never, ever goes away, no matter how much you scrub and mop. it is the herpes of the craft world.

    If it isn’t the cards with glitter on them, it’s the cards that play annoying music when you open them, so that everybody turns to look at you. How do I spit in a card with everyone watching?

    Forget the glitter, I’m still sweeping up pine needles from my tree…though that is rather self-inflicted.

    My school teacher friends refer to glitter as “the herpes of craft supplies” because one’s it’s on you, there’s no getting rid of it.
