Chapter: Comics
I remember being scared of brain freeze when I was a kid. The first couple times it happened I didn’t understand what was going. I wanted to eat that ice cream so fast but there was that fear holding me back. Teaching me to savor it.

I haven’t experienced brain freeze that often, but this is probably because I usually eat veeery sloooowly…
Biff seems to be pretty OK even with his brain removed! It’s a good thing that he still remembers to eat the ice cream, too! I don’t think I would still remember that after having removed my brain and wrapped it in a blanket (if I could have done that)…
I think the instinct to eat Ice Cream goes back to the beginning of Time. A milestone of progress is growing a brain clever enough to make Ice Cream. Next step is the ability to remove the brain for just this purpose, like Biff did.
Who said it was Biff’s brain?
Maybe it’s a spare brain from the brain market, for a spare to swap in after his is frozen, or (who would ever know?) for dessert, yum!
And KK, I wonder if the next step in evolution would be to understand how BF happens and take Rogues’ advice and enjoy it slowly. For me, it’s usually not ice cream, but something like a Slurpee(TM), a chipped-ice drink that goes down so good in summer, but WAY too fast!
When i drink slushies and stuff, I kind of make a spoon with my tongue (inside my mouth) and I let the liquid pool in there instead of forcing it up to the top of my mouth. I can’t even remember the last time I had a brain freeze.
Of course, what this method does give me is a very numb tongue.
i don’t get brain freezes, but if i eat ice cream too fast my throat freezes up for a bit. i generally try to wait for my ice cream to soften a little anyway, so it doesn’t happen too often.
