I like picking melodies and rhythms out on kids toys. It’s fun to see what can be done with a limited pallet of sounds. My son will try to emulate this by making as many simultaneous sounds as possible.
I never really liked that kind of toys as a kid. I’m so bad at things having to do with rhythms and melodies, so I didn’t even bother, *even* when I was a kid and it only was supposed to be for fun.
Though I really wonder what a whistling cheese would sound like…
I want a musical cheese!
Wouldn’t “The Lonely Goatheard” be more fitting for a Swiss?
Music, I’m told, has a tempo so that it doesn’t all happen at once; CrashKlangThumpTHUD! Same reason we have Time for other things…
I love negative continuity.
