#1185 – Blanc

It’s always interesting when you remove a switch plate from the wall of a house that’s at lest a few decades old. you can frequently see the layers of paint that has built up through the years. I usually have a moment of “Really? This room used to be lime green?”

Wow…Sheer stupidity worthy of this strip…I don’t know about you. I have only been in my brand new house about 4 years.

I really like Biff’s shirt with the drippy cloud shape on his shoulder. I’d buy a shirt with a paint blop on it if it looked like that.

Considering the normal method of whitening your teeth includes the use of bleach, a normally poisonous chemical, the spray paint doesn’t seem as bad an idea as it appears. It just needs caution, but Biff never cared about that before, why should he now?

paint? we dont paint rooms. we use wallpapers, but there’s still something about old rooms, if you remove switches and wallplugs, you can see that the paper darkened over the years of use of the room.

Well, now over the course of next year, Biff’s scary teeth should be BLINDING!

Thank you for feeding my nightmares more material 😛

Looks like he’s whitening his face, too.
Some of the rooms in my house have wood paneling that used to be white on the walls. Too bad washing with soap water isn’t effective, but you can see the difference if you employ an eraser.

I’ve rented places where the layers of paint are so thick that the molding which used to be carved now is almost smooth. And there is always one really odd color in the mix when you manage to chip through to the original surface. Flamingo Pink? In the Kitchen?

  8. ZeoViolet says:

Well…it’s easier and cheaper than going to the dentist, isn’t it?….

  9. Justin says:

Interesting you should say lime green, as when we upgraded our electrical in the bedroom, we found it was in fact lime green before we moved in. The bathroom was also a disgusting pinkish-purple colour.

  10. i liked to make paint layers when i was a kid except we made them on chip bags and with finger paint they were fun to throw

    Hahaha…
Biff’s skin is really pale, so I doubt anyone would notice the excess paint unless they looked really hard. We now know why Biff is not being neat!

We had that moment of “Really? This bathroom was entirely pink including the toilet?” when we first looked at our house and saw the bathroom that was entirely pink, including the toilet.

@ soilent: that reminds me of a condo I looked at which had a different pattern of harvest gold wallpaper in every room.

  13. Tulle says:

It’s even worse with wallpapers. “What? My parents bedroom used to have a white and brown floral wallpaper? When did that ever look good?
