Chapter: Comics
The local pool has lots of rules about what you can and can’t do there and also has many people on staff to enforce them. Hotel swimming pools also have lots of rules but they are very bad at actually having someone be around to do something about people breaking them. If you show up with a couple 5 gallon buckets full of vegetables and dump them in the hot tub next to the main pool nobody will say anything as you stand there consulting your soup recipe. Or, at least, that’s what I’ve been told. By this one guy.

… who heard it from the friend of a friend.
Trust me, it works. I rendered an entire hot-tub minestrone with minimal interruption 😀

Great comics, Chris. 2 1/2 thumbs up!
Don’t ask me about the 1/2 thumb, I can hardly keep track of it myself…
But you would know nothing about that personally, huh Chris?
This is totally true. I work the night audit at a hotel, and the only time that I have to enforce anything with the pool is if people are skinny dipping or being loud enough to wake up others.
…not even the people in the soup? O.o
I would want in that hot-tub. Sounds fun.
Eeeew… Think of all the peoples’ butts that have been in that hot tub…
Make sure to adjust the amount of salt in your recipe to account for the pool water.
Oly oly oxygen free!
@Azkyroth: People might notice, but not frogs. Not if you add the vegetables very gradually.
pools are fun but thAts when i am seimming under water or in a water gun fight yes i am admitting that i cant swim
but i have adapted a anti drown swim its slow but effective i bob up and down while doing it so i get plenty of deep breaths which supply me with just enough oxygen to do the next stroke
yes i know i spelled swimming wrong i just got up so what
It’s Hot Out week?
The little stories under the comic make me feel like I know Chris. They are half the enjoyment I get out of The Book of Biff.
Nothing’s as good as jacuzzi soup; although I would prefer French Onion to Minestrone.
Reminds me of this comic
“The oxygen tax got to high for Biff”
“Biff realizes books are not waterproof”
Heh…reminds me of back when I was in college, the night we moved out of our FURNISHED apartment (due to ¨conflicts¨with management and knowing we were NEVER getting our deposit back) we set up all the furniture at the bottom of the pool, and using our scuba gear had a little ¨Pool Party¨in the pool
remind me of a sign i once saw:
“Welcome to our OOL. As you can see, there is no P in it. Please keep it that way.”
also:
“Biff realises that he evolved from a fish”
not as funny as any of the other people came up with.
Definetly not as funny as the original.
