One summer when I was a kid our refrigerator broke down and we got a shiny new one. It had a new “vacuum seal” feature that I had never seen before. It worked too good. My younger brother and I could barely open it. I had to grab the handle with both hands and push off the cabinet next to it with my foot. Fortunately the seal loosened up after a few months and we didn’t need to leave footprints on vertical surfaces anymore.
Mice: Heh heh heh… didn’t lock up his tools, so we stole his food. Bastard.
Well at least Biff has a new kitchen air conditioner
I do volunteer work at a Border Collie rescue… Rats are our constant foe. Nothing short of gavanized metal bins keeps them out of the dog food, and some of the metal bins have been compromised, too.
Anything less than metal, and it’s swiss-cheese to them. I swear they’re not rodents; they’re furry little rescue-saws!
Oh, and baughbe:
That’s a very Biff-like re-purposing!
Before I scrolled down far enough to read the caption, I thought for a second that the tank was some kind of robot that had escaped from the fridge.
Somedays, Chris…I have sometimes dealt with the same problem. The fridge door won’t budge unless I put my weight into it. I sometimes find myself stumbling backward once I get it open. I damn the seal on my fridge, it’s too good at staying sealed.
Unwanted vermin week continues!
Could it be?

At least the freezer is safe.
@ Random: You mean… free of guilt?
(The Long Dark Tea Time of The Soul)
Oh, wait. More likely you meant as opposed to the ‘fridge, which was more within their reach.
…Sorry to crowd the comments again. I do focus too much sometimes on seeing the world through my mostly referential perspective.
Space mice have arrived… Biff build the better mousetrap!
@ Baughbe: Well, the Biff-verse might work that way, but our world can’t refrigerate like that
All the heat inside the refrigerator is supposed to exit into the kitchen, so this becomes and endless cycle that just causes the machinery to overheat from constant running and eventually fail
But again, biff-verse logic might just win the day.
looks like biff’s been visiting the ‘Overboard’ pirate ship….. and some of their mice came home with him.
