#835 – Stiff

Lack of sleep for me usually results in my short term memory going fuzzy. I won’t finish sentences properly. I’ll walk into rooms and not remember why. I’ll eat dinner and then ask “So, what are we having for dinner tonight?” I wish I could have some gauges installed that would show when I’m low on food or vitamins or sleep. It will make it more obvious when I should be sleeping instead of eating a 2nd bag of cheetos.

You know I have the same problems you and Biff have. It’s sometimes too much of an effort for me to sit down and not getting enough sleep screws up everything else for me.

  2. Space Butler says:

Nothing wrong with leaning. Also, thanks for a good laugh before I go back to school tomorrow.

  3. N2O1138 says:

Those gauges: in other words, all the benefits of being a Sim, without someone potentially trapping you in a box!

(by the way, I’m the person with whom you had a conversation about folded chips on Twitter)

  4. Grent says:

TITLES THAT RHYME WITH BIFF WEEK.

    So calling it now.

  5. Nilly says:

Was he standing up all day?

  6. Croc says:

Ooh, lack of sleep is just the norm for me. I tend to get overly paranoid, but am too tired to act on my assertions that the guy in the checkout line is going to pull out a katana from beneath his wheelchair.

  7. Chris says:

    @N2O1138 – You are everywhere!

  8. MaskedMan says:

Been there, done that. I could use a set of BiffGauges, too. My biggest problem is when I get past a certain point of tired, I have trouble falling asleep. Ironic, and frustrating!

  9. sco3tt says:

Sitting is overrated. If more people spent more time leaning, less people would sit more.

  10. Craig! says:

If you could have need-monitoring gauges installed, why not just go all the way and have your need to sleep removed?

  11. ZachLight says:

I can tell, those office chairs are murder on the back…..specially if its one of those chairs where you relax while you stand up*

  12. JSW says:

I feel the same way when my muscles are aching from working all day, I try to sit down and all my muscles start hurting. It’s like my body is saying “Okay, you can go start feeling pain now that you’re resting”.

  13. -2! says:

Happens to me all the time (the being to tired to sit down thing)

  14. sco3tt says:

I have a solution, Chris. It’s ALWAYS time for a second bag of Cheetos.

  15. Linzleh says:

I assumed that Biff’s nifty multi-gauged office chair would relieve these problems…what are all those knobs for anyway! Isn’t tired a way of life? I work nites and the shipper for whom I sort 1000’s of packages does not provide seating.

  16. Hershey says:

Gee, thanks for reminding me about the metal seats at school. /shiver/

  17. DaemonThanatos says:

Man, have I been THERE. I’d go to sit down, and hear a sound like thunder…come to find out, it was my knees popping from overuse. Go figure, eh?
