Chapter: Comics
I was friends with a giraffe named Steve in grade school. It was cool because I could climb down his neck to sneak out of my 2nd floor bedroom at night. We’d usually hang out at the forest preserve. He would eat some leaves and I would skip rocks on the river. He moved away in 5th grade when his dad got a new job in Florida. I wonder if he ever learned to ride a bike. He was the only one in my grade that didn’t know how.

I love seeing the results of Biff’s actions more than when they are actually shown. My imagination always fills in something a little more absurd than could be drawn.
Ha! What?
I have a nagging suspicion that certain elements of that story might have been partially fabricated.
I second that notion.
Yeah. His name wasn’t Steve.
That sounds like the setup for a bad Disney movie.
His name was George and he was an orangutan, wasn’t he? D=
Yes, giraffes have horns, and no, you shouldn’t touch them. It’s common sense.
I’ve always held the notion that giraffes are some sort of alien creature put here to monitor us.
Come on, they just look so damn wierd.
Ok, now I’m officially scared of Chris 😛
Fun & games at the zoo for Biff this week…Steve the giraffe is much akin to Howard the pony, who magically appeared while I was riding my bike.
@Croc I always felt that way about slugs, the perfect extra terrestial. Squishy, slimy, disgusting, and useless.
I wanna meet Steve D:
At least it’ll be easy for the gnomes to get him down outa the tree. Eyebrows to the rescue!
I think that story is probably about an imaginary friend.
Either that or its a completely fictional anecdote. Now I don’t know what to believe about them all…
I wonder if he was making a statement about a tv show…
Oh, I’m sure the giraffe is native to Earth. The creature responsible for the giraffe is not, though.
Also I am certain that story is true. What is there not to believe?
…i think…
when you say, GIRAFFE, do you mean a giraffe giraffe or a tall kid?
if you meant tall kid: ah, i understand now
if you meant giraffe: ah, i understand why you are biff’s official biographer now |;D
I loved reading this story from your youth; it was the best one yet.
Haha! I have no memory of writing that!
