#830 – Quilled

I get crazy sneeze attacks from dust. It’s always very frustrating because of the loss of control. It comes on so suddenly like I am being attacked by some sort of invisible enemy. I know I have this problem but I will still put myself into dusty situations. I only have myself to blame.

I am allergic to one type of mold. It will trigger asthma symptoms every time. And yet, I love its smell. So earthy, so cool, so….*wheeze*

  2. speakerblast says:

    oh god allergies…

    For anyone who cares

Cats, dogs, feathers, trees, grass, weeds, ragweed, mould, dustmites, sulpha, cephilasporins (sp?), cashews, pistachios, aaaaaaand kiwi!

  3. Ziggy Stardust says:

I’m not allergic to anything but grass. Cheese popcorn FTW!

  4. LazerWulf says:

    zoo week? allergy week?

  5. Space Butler says:

Such a pity, since cheese popcorn is so delicous.

  6. starseedjenny says:

I’m not allergic to anything I know of, but a few scattered days every year I’ll have my share of dripping eyes and congestion. And I’m mildly allergic to some sort of industrial cleaning fluid that’s used on desks in schools sometimes…The occasional rash on my arms is always fun

  7. Greyryder says:

    Ouch. That looks painful….

  8. Kree says:

Ya see Biff, they have those signs about not feeding the animals for a reason 😛

  9. Nilly says:

I’m allergic to cats. And some medicines. But that’s about it as far as anybody knows. XD Biff looks bemused here.

when i first read this comic, i was the third or fourth person commenting, now im the seventh, this comic is getting really popular, i just found out a bunch of my friends read this now.

great comic today, ill remeber that, no cheese popcorn at the zoo.

  11. Chris says:

    @Space Butler – I agree!

  12. joca63 says:

no allergies that i know of Yay, well except possibly cats

  13. ZeoViolet says:

I’ve got more allergies than I can count. Dust, molds, most things that grow at all and produce pollen, dogs, cats, milk, soy, different kinds of makeups, certain cleaning fluids, certain detergents, penecillin, iodine, ibuprofin, etc etc etc….it’s no fun. Fortunately my reactions are annoying but bearable–it’s my sister who has fewer allergies but the ones she does have caused anaphylatic shock (bee stings and ibuprofin–thank god I’m not allergic to bee stings).

  14. Biffaholic says:

Darn you Chris! I now have to drive down to the store and pick up some popcorn, just to find out what cheese popcorn tastes like.

  15. sco3tt says:

This week is obviously “Things that fly out of animals when they sneeze” week. Could be interesting!

  16. Nicoli20 says:

@ sco3tt: Are you saying that pill in the last comic came out of an animal? o0

  17. Leinad says:

Nicoli20, last comic was on a Friday. Today is Monday. New week=new theme.

    oh, and, Biff FTW!!!

  18. Radical Edward says:

I’m allergic to Sudafed, tomatoes, almonds and black pepper. I also have seasonal allergies.

  19. reynard61 says:

@Radical Edward: You’re allergic to tomatoes too? I can eat them if they’re processed (i.e. pureed, crushed or in sauces), but whole tomatoes (even canned) give me hives on my chest, back and upper arms. (I used to get asthma attacks as well, but that seems to have gone away over the years.)

  20. Linzleh says:

Ya know porcupines can’t throw their quills…

  21. ZackDark says:

@Linzleh: but they can unattach them, so an explosive unattachment could be confused with throwing in the Biff-verse 😛

  22. I’m allergic to allergies.

  23. MaskedMan says:

Quothe the porcupine: “Go away, Biff, or we shall quill you a second time!”

  24. DeadRuler says:

Yes! I finally finished getting through all of these! Time to bookmark.

  25. -2! says:

At one point there was significant evidence to suggest I was allergic to dictionaries… The first bunch of times I had to use them in school I had to go home sick symptoms I cannot remember. It does not happen anymore.

  26. ThatSomethingGuy says:

I don’t have any allergies, fortunately. However, I can’t eat fresh bananas or tomatoes because of the acids in them. No idea why, but I’m sensitive to them in an unpleasant way.

  27. i.half4 says:

Sounds like someone who continually dates the wrong people, and is quite possibly related. The physiological process of sneezing is the same as that for sex: a sharp build up and sudden release of tension.

    Enjoy your sneezes.

  28. YukiSnowflake says:

@i.half4 – why thankyou, i will enjoy my sneezes now, jokes.

  29. Sabathh says:

I have the exactly same problem. Had it for years, so now it is a pretty normal thing. I sneeze about 30 times in a row, and when it is over, I keep doing what I was doing before.. The only situation this thing puts me into trouble is when I’m drivin.. ^^’

  30. extremist343 says:

I’m not allergic to anything! I win! suck it losers!
