Chapter: Comics
I suppose if we all had magnetic navigational instruments in our heads the world would be very different. Probably the most significant change is that the corn maze would never have caught on.
The Book of Biff #4 preorder sale ends this week!
I wonder if flocks of geese would go mad with panic if you activated a magnet near them, or if the spearhead formation just disolves.
Hmm…is this before or after you have to give one of the temple guards half your life token?
Also…I KNEW that’s what Biff’s eyebrows were for.
It’s magnetics week!
Also, I’m thinking yesterday’s title has to do with Ames room, which is an actual optical illusion you can build. Look it up on Youtube, it’s cool!
is it just me or are the eyebrows growing?
Or, you know, the titular Ames could be the Ames who invented the escalator.
Hey Chris
Ive just finished chewing my way through the archives love the Book of Biff. You are truly amazing at what you do and hope you never stop. This is definetley my number 1 webcomic and now my homepage.
Thanks for all the laughs
Haha! Biff, even if your internal navigation’s broken, you should be able to differentiate between outdoors and indoors…. That part of your brain should depend on another set of components.
You’re trusting Biffs brain to manage something? Silly of you.
@SharkJumper – 5 points!
@Statnio – Awesome, thanks!
@heinrich- I think it’s time Biff got another haircut
That, and then there would be no more orienteering courses. The lives of Boy Scouts everywhere would be thrown into turmoil.
Google both Ames and Olmec together, lots of really cool stuff to learn.
Great, by the time he finds the kitchen his food will be cold and he’ll have to microwave it again and end up getting lost and then by the time he finds the kitchen his food will be cold and he’ll have to microwave it again and end up getting lost and then . . .
@heinrich I think you maybe right….Or I’m just eyebrow-paranoid.
Still, it’d be a funn webcomic, Biff trying to cut his eyebrows and failing.
Anyways, Onto this one. I’d be so very confused, Because not everything is north!
I think I’ll stick to walking in circles.
The Olmecs, the classic lost culture…hopefully Biff’s nuked internal navigation magnets won’t get him that lost!
I think that must be a dish if spaghetti.
I would prefer to live in a world with corn mazes. It is my traditional weekend mini vacation from work in the fall.
Is it me or is it magnet week?
It should be more properly called a “maize maze.”
I’d rather have an extra brain myself. I could use more RAM.
If we have magnets in our heads, we will never have anything like electricity grids. We just fry our brains when we go near power pylons.
Actually, humans do have an incredibly small amount of magnetic material. It’s located just behind the nose, and is slightly more developed in males than females.
So that’s why he can move around with his eyes closed…
Actually I think corn mazes could be more popular with a reliable internal compass. getting lost in them has more to do with multiple confusing turns and such than knowing which direction is which.
knowing the direction could just make you feel ore like you shouldn’t get lost making it seem more lost.
