#622 – Swap

I’ve bought and sold many things on eBay over the past decade. It’s very exciting when I would sell something for a lot more than I expected or when I win something for a lot cheaper than expected. Unfortunately both of those occasions are rare and my win/loss ratio has probably come out to about even. But the big wins are what you remember. I guess that’s always what gets people to come back.

I love how his eyebrows got stuck.

  2. Chuck says:

So the guy didn’t want a sucker?

  3. TomTom says:

I would not be unhappy if you started selling a pair of those socks. They look both awesome, and toasty.

  4. Dwarg91 says:

Wait Chris confirmed that there were other people than Biff in this world! And they can get as close to biff as they want!

  5. SEA says:

Well, we now know biff can speak =p

  6. Genesismonk says:

I love the art on the table, I keep trying to guess who those figurines and stuffed animals are.

I once got an NES at a garage sale for $8, with like 10 games included. I am gonna tell my grandkids about that one from my mansion in the carribean…

  7. Genesismonk says:

Agh, curse my early enter button habits!

    …that I will have one day…

  8. PsychoDuck says:

So, Biff isn’t alone, he can talk, and lives in a place populated enough to warrant a garage sale.

My guess is he just moved there. Otherwise, I highly doubt he’d have people living anywhere near him.

    The Duck Has Spoken.

  9. Hezzu says:

I wonder what kind of voice Biff has :_D
Maybe it is like funny high pitch voice or it can be very manly 😀

  10. KZero says:

🙁 I’ve missed a lot of the Biffatars. Primarily because I wasn’t checking daily since well before they started until a few days ago. I was wondering, will they be released in some gallery later? Or will we at least get a second shot at them somehow? I’d appreciate being able to collect the whole set.

  11. Colin says:

so there ARE others in the world of Biff. where are they?

  12. RG says:

Love the classic “Painting on your head” result of his actions. Somehow, I always knew he could talk and lived with other people…

  13. Wizard says:

What’s the price on Reynardine? I’d love to have my very own wolf doll. I’d definitely pay extra if it includes the shape-shifting, body-stealing demon, of course. (For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, just check out Gunnerkrigg Court, one of the greatest comics on the web.)

I think I recognize some of the other items, but I’m not quite sure. I know the skull socks are from Diesel Sweeties. Please, please tell me Biff isn’t selling Pedo Bear…

Considering some of the things Biff has bought/invented, I’d really love to know the details of the transaction that would inspire him to call someone a sucker.

Oh, and as long as I’m commenting, I’ve been getting a definite kick out of the Biffatars.

  14. Striker says:

I recognise Beartato and I think those are diesel sweeties socks on the table? Not sure about the rest though..

Thanks for an always interesting comic! 🙂

  15. Bakelite says:

Wizard: Nope, looks like he’s selling Beartato, something Nedroid draws.

  16. MaskedMan says:

    @Dwarg91;
Haven’t you been paying attention? It’s long been known that there are other people in Biff-world. We just never see them.

  17. Shannon says:

Oooh, jinxlet! Biff has good taste in stuffed entertainment. Although he _is_ apparently selling it…

  18. trueblaze says:

    Wow…you mean Biff actully talks?

  19. random person says:

You’ve got a point there trueblaze.

  20. Jake says:

Oh, that Biff! Always doing things wrong in a humorous manner.

  21. Jackson says:

    Webcomics garage sale! Sweeeeeet

  22. DTanza says:

Huh I guess it`s Biff says stupid things week.

  23. I spy a pugs book from Sheldon comics!
That bear did look kinda like Pedobear, so I was really wondering why he’d have THAT visible, however the arms and legs are too skinny for him, and I’m glad it’s a different bear, whom I’ve never heard of.

  24. Chris says:

If anyone doesn’t know who the bear is then go to http://www.nedroid.com right now for some fantastic comics.

  25. Speakerblast says:

Biff: Ha! I can’t believe he believed that that was the mona lisa!

    sucker!

  26. reynard61 says:

Is that an Octopus Pie coffee mug?

(Still posting as “Reynard” on non-Gavatar sites.)

  27. “Biff was too impatient week.”

Think about it…too impatient to read all the directions…too impatient to wait and see if he won the lottery…too impatient to wait until the suc, uh, customer was out of earshot…if tomorrow’s the one with the fork and lasagna, he probably took it out of the oven half cooked.

  28. bghvgjdh says:

    Woah, woah, woah woah….
    BIFF CAN TALK?
My mind has just been blown.

  29. Chris says:

    @reynard61 – Yes yes!

  30. DTanza says:

    True Andore…. quite true….

  31. Dodom says:

Count me in the “Biff can talk?? My mind has been blown!!!” crowd.

  32. Wizard says:

Glad to hear it. SO much less disturbing.

  33. TheMusicGuy says:

I’m thinking he probably has a either an Italian or German accent. I don’t know why.

  34. Johnson says:

HOLY CRAP Biff is selling my socks!!

  35. Jesse says:

I like how Biff is selling Beartato and Reynardine.

  36. Nokore says:

The little white wolf is Reynardine from Gunnerkrigg Court. =D I like Reynardine. >w<

  37. YukiSnowflake says:

Is it just me, or at the far left, are those from this:
    http://www.thebookofbiff.com/2008/10/07/606-sneetches/
i guess they were too creepy for him to keep aftetr knowing we’d seen them.
either that, or someone payed him to sell them (*what a stupid thing to do!*)

  38. bleh says:

    It’s Beartato!!!

  39. Dorten says:

    Yay, Reynardine!
