It’s weird how sometimes my brain forgets how car doors work and I crack my head on the roof when I’m getting in or out. It’s bad enough having to endure the pain, but when you leave work at the same time as a bunch of other people you get the bonus effect of starring in your own one person slapstick comedy show.

I do find myself marvelling at Biff’s strength.
I think that’s one of the biggest problem with everything being outsourced to Asia, it all comes back smaller and I’m not a small guy. I find myself constantly ducking and living in constant fear that the incredible shrinking world is going to leave me barefoot and wearing capris

I know what that is like! I remember I was so nervous at the end of driving lessons that I’d try to get off the car without taking the seatbelt off; however, I don’t think I can tear the whole seat clean off!
Biff has to be super strong for that. He has to be, after getting savagely exploded so often.
If my seatbelts were attached to my seat, I probably could’ve done that in my first car near the end. The floor underneath the seat was rusting out so bad, I was lounging considerably while driving.
Biff must have bought a convertible. although i did have the same thought as Mr. Duck above me about the ejector seat…
Same here with the ejector seat. Either Biff’s super strong or his car just took too much of a beating lately. I’m gonna go with the latter.
My first thought was “That’s a good Idea, having a backpack with a seat attached.
LOL Once again I tried to make an alternate caption before reading the original, and mine was almost exactly the same as this one.
Chris: I know how that “everything comes back from Asia is much smaller” thing works. I have two motorscooters: one is Japanese, and the other is Italian. The Japanese one, I have to be sure to quickly move my knee out of the way if I’m making a sharp turn, otherwise I bash my knee with the handlebar. The Italian one suffers from no such problems, although Japanese people tend to complain bitterly about how huge their Italian bikes are.
BigJoeMax: When I was taking my driver’s test, the first part was for the lady to check my brake lights and stuff, make sure they all work. So I get in the car, she walks to the back, and she goes “Let’s do left blinker first” so I turn the left blinker on, there’s this awkward silence, and she goes “You need to turn the car on first, sweetie.”
Yeah. I was a little bit nervous.
that’s nothing. i’ve slammed my head in the car door before.
My mom had one of those late 80’s model Camrys with the electric seatbelt that would automatically move when you opened or closed the door. I’m really surprised that thing didn’t take my head off a few times. I was always getting caught in it.
I help out on my mother’s paper route. I often end up sleeping in the truck between some of the further apart houses on dirt roads. Being tall, I have to keep the seat as far back as possible, as well as slightly leaned back just to be comfortable enough to sit. The problem is when a sudden turn or bump happens while I am asleep, I usually end up awake as my head slams into where the shoulder strap is held next to the door.
I’m curious if my skull or the hard plastic will win in the end.
Yeah, I went to the James Bond place, too – For an instant, I thought Biff had suffered an Ejection Seat-related mishap.

The seat comes off so easily when Biff gets out without taking off the seatbelt, precisely ‘cos it’s meant to unattach itself with ease, having an actual eject option.

For me it’s unlocking the door to get out of the car. Unlock, relock, pull latch. Unsuccessful sequence every time, and yet I persist in trying it when there’s someone there to notice.

I just love the fact that it took him that long to realize that he was still carrying a seat with him. XDD
