#406 – Charoo

Growing up I had 3 days of Christmas gift excitement. Day 1 was Christmas eve. After dinner the family would gather around the tree and we would exchange all the gifts we got for each other. This would be all the gifts that had accumulated under the tree over the past month. Day 2 was Christmas morning. We would wake up and come downstairs to find 1 new present for each of us from Santa. This would always be a big grand finale type gift like a bicycle or a millennium falcon. Then day 3 was the day after Christmas when I went over to my friend Chris’s house and got to check out all the cool stuff that he got that year. We rarely got any duplicate gifts so that day was almost as exciting as the first two.

I Love it! I’ll have to ask dad about adding that application to our house!

Usually, christmas eve we each get ONE present…then the next morning we wake up (wait till EVERYBODYS UP!) then open presents.

You got a Millenium Falcon for Christmas?! Lucky…

If I had one of those I would decorate it. I wonder why Biff’s chimney funnel is not decorated. I mean a few lights to tether it in place would really bring out the holiday sprit or even better fire. But I have the felling fire is involved in the fireplace funnel’s future ether that or Biff’s attic is a strange and mistrust place. I take that back Biff’s attic is a strange and mistrust place without it.

    P.S: sorry about the ramble.

Scary thought what dose Biff do with his decorations after the holidays.

I understand both today’s and yesterday’s titles. Can they be put together to make a certain name? Well, close to it, anyway. It might be an unintended reference; I tend to catch those a lot.

Every year, my bf and I argued over when we’d exchange our gifts for each other. He wanted to do it the second I walked in the door the afternoon of Christmas Eve. I wanted to wait until I left at 2.00 a.m. Christmas Day. Last year, he trumped me, though. I walked in the door, and it was sitting on my seat.

Not sure how it’ll work this year. He now lives 400 miles away.

Lol, you can’t put that where i live…(HDB flat)
And the most my family and i do for christmas is order something great to eat =p

  8. Plankster says:

Not only did I just wake up, but I have to eat breakfast before my family opens presents. Wait, that means that I checked Biff before I opened presents on Christmas. How messed up is that?

  9. Chris says:

    Plankster, that is awesome 🙂

  10. Envious Luna says:

That means Biff actually has a fireplace……….
    Lucky, lucky Biff.

Santa has to come through the vents at my place. Or maybe the kitchen window.

We did things like The Scarf said.

We had stockings though, and those were fair game as soon as we got up. I think mom and dad did that so we’d let them sleep longer.

  12. PsychoDuck says:

Ah, Biff, what won’t you think of?

I usually have two days of Christmas, but I had three this year. Sunday I got stockings from a Family friend, yesterday I got gifts from my dad and pajamas from my mom, and today was the big day!

And Merry Christmas to all! I hope all readers, Chris, his wife and their family all have a happy holidays. Enjoy your Millennium Falcon 😛

we get to open presents on chrismas eve

  14. R-3 says:

Christmas morning? Pretty awesome. I was asleep until some time around noon, as my family was up until at least 3-5am all seperately around the house. I wake up to be handed 50 dollars and a present from my dad; i opened the one from my mom the night before. But to have christmas come to me without having to get out of bed? Priceless.

Hope the presents don’t get lodged in the cheese fireplace! >_

  17. Trevor says:

What about spending money you got?

  18. Jojobees says:

yes, you have the same Christmas tradition as my family 😀 ‘cept on Christmas eve we usually have dinner, then go to Church (which was not so fascinating all the time), then have our presents, and then we’d have Santa presents the next morning :). Part 3 would have to be going to our grandparent’s later that Christmas day to get more presents.

  19. Ela says:

But wouldn’t the funnel allow rain and/or other forms of precipitation all into his home through his chimney? Hope Biff has a plan for that, too..

  20. Colin says:

lold at the title (didn’t it go chim chiminy charoo?)

  21. Christmas for me would involve opening one little present on Xmas Eve and opening the rest on Christmas day. If I received money, I would spend it the day AFTER Xmas.

  22. KZero says:

Better hope the gifts aren’t fragile if he expects them to get dropped into the massive funnel.

  23. Zach Light says:

heheheh, that be so me right there, only problem would be the rain.
