#258 – Copy

Photocopiers are wonderous machines. I think the first one I ever used was at the public library. It was 25 cents a copy at the time. There was a big metal coinbox attached to it like the pony ride at the grocery store. I was very excited the first time I got access to a free photocopier. I made a lot of psychedelic copies of my face.

some kid sat on a photo copier once…..

  2. Garrett says:

Reminds me of Albus Dumbledore’s pensieve.

  3. Green says:

Whenever I have to make copies with my school copier, I’m always sure to make one of my hand. I walk around asking people if they need a hand, and show it. People rarely seem to need a hand these days…

  4. Schmoo says:

Just read your entire archive. Lots of laughs were had. Can’t say much on the subject of photocopiers, though. Something always seems to print wrong when I use them.

  5. ExitusRifle says:

    So where’s #258?

  6. Elli says:

I once saw this video where a guy at work was photocopying his butt and the glass broke.

  7. Andy says:

I was gonna say something about him not copying his butt. Then I noticed that the butt comments were already taken. Instead, I will post a quote that Biff’s seperated head reminded me of: “Have an open mind, but do not lean forwards, or your brain may fall out.”

  8. Katharos says:

Biff is safe with the “brain may fall out” part, apparently his brain is glued to the inside of his upper skull. How else could he photocopy his ideas?

  9. CojoinedCows says:

Huh, reminds ME of things I’ve got to learn for the university: Biffs head is axial sliced, seperating his cerebrum from the cerebellum, pons and medulla oblongata just above the nervus opticus. I think.

  10. agentpyro003 says:

Well, it looks like Biff is pretty level-headed!

  11. Marioman64 says:

    Where’s comic #258?

You skipped it somehow… great comic anyway πŸ™‚

  12. Heinrich says:

didn’t you see #258? it was the one about the disappearing comic.

i wish i could do that with a photo copier… it’d be great for remembering dreams.

  13. Chris says:

Well nuts! I guess I was really sleepy when I posted this. Yeah this is #258. Fixed. :p

  14. Marcus Dranz says:

Heinrich, you have to REMEMBER the dream in the FIRST place to get it to the copier.

And, Chris, ‘safe’ keeping? He ain’t safe even if he’s chained to the ground and blindfolded.

Also, I’m leaving this comment while at school, in a DESIGN class. The one next to me can’t figure it out. Even AFTER I explained it to him. TWICE.

  15. Bob says:

the one biff is using are my favorite, the one i have, an old HP-PSC1200 serries, its a printer from hell. its main food is paper. but it scans at 2k DPI, which is enough to look at dirt particles inbetween the ridges of your fingerprint.

  16. Steven says:

Safe keeping? Because if he looses a HUGE part of his brain he can go to the filling cabinet? That’s actually a great idea! And you could fax ’em to!

I could sure as hell use a photocopier like that for my University studies. I can’t seen to make out the model and make of it. Would you be able to email me with the info ASAP as exams are coming up.

AS always, thanks for the laughs. Always helps.

  17. Brett says:

I’m always astounded by Biff’s Borderline retarded actions!

    Thanks for the great comic!

  18. Squall says:

It was funny reading all the “what happened to#258” stuff because Chris already fixed it, so I was all like, “Well, heck, it’s right there ya’ numbskulls!” And then I wondered who says numbskulls anymore, and then I thought about how Biff’s head is solid beige flesh. Oh, and Brett: Biff’s actions aren’t retarded, genius would be more applicable. I mean, how many times do you wish you could eat cereal before it gets all soggy and gross? A bajillion and one, that’s how many.

  19. Wannabeelf says:

i have a scanner on the computer. i use that.

  20. Awkward As Usual says:

    I wish I could do that…

    great comic

  21. DomanickX says:

How do you explain Biff? It’s like jazz; you either get it or you don’t…

    Aud

PS I don’t get jazz, but I get Biff!

I’m waiting for tomorrow’s comics to rant.

  24. ninjakyrosaki says:

I just don’t seem to see anything inside his head where there would normally be things there. Perhaps his brain’s the size of a walnut?

  25. Demonprophet says:

Cool. A reference to the first page. That barber did a hell of a job with that haircut. Seems like it was far more practical than it seemed.

  26. Brett says:

I said borderline retarded, basically, almost retarded…

And yes, I see what you mean, he is a genius, albeit an eccentric one..

  27. dragonbrad says:

i woke up this morning and didnt put a comment up, how could i, has anyone read the comic i made, click my name

  28. William McMillian says:

This comic reminds me of the first comic

  29. dragonbrad says:

tell me if my comic is good

  30. P. Reaper says:

Does Biff use his paper to the fullest by using both sides? I mean, his thoughts quite complex.

  31. Kailen says:

It’s a shame that Xerox copies never are as crisp and clear as the originals….

  32. OH NO! SYLAR GOT TO BIFF!

  33. coolkid1234uh.......5 says:

ok that’s just… weird. i photocopied my hand before in a school copier and left it there. i told my friend that i had gone to the office and made copies because i was a teachers aid. and over the anouncements they mentioned the hand their exact words were ‘Would whoever left their hand on the copier please come to the office to pick it up.’ my friend and i looked at each other and laughed so hard!

  34. Takanero Tisuchero says:

i know it was awesome man. i couldn’t get over it. did you hear the people in the next class laughing.

  35. Ela says:

This reminds me of your first Biff comic. The one with the barber shop…

  36. Mr dude says:

    Yeah i noticed biff doesn’t have a brain…no offence…:P

  37. Sergeant Major says:

This brings memories of cartoon characters photocopying their tushes.

    Ah, the good old days.

  38. Knife Knut says:

I am surprised he didn’t use his cranial VCR.

  39. Rachel says:

those are fun ^_^ the first time i ever used one was when i was at grandma sue’s office, i made a drawing because i was bored, and grandma said i can copy it so i could give it to more than one person. i was a little kid.

  40. Darkpheonix XIII says:

    Wow, a Harry Potter reference.

  41. Elkian says:

Reminds me of the briefcase one.

  42. DarkWolf901 says:

The library in my town burned down a few years ago and was subsiding in the community center, me & my brothers would go to get D&D stuff photocopied all the time. Then they tore down the community center and built a huge new library (that quite frankly wasted a LOT of money on non-book related items – video games, computers, architecture) anyway, they then bought a big, brand new photocopier and threw out the old one. On an unrelated note, we got a perfectly good secondhand photocopier. From a dumpster.

  43. the walrus says:

When I want copies I have small animals I have subjugated copy them by hand.

  44. Krevik says:

I guess Biff has been sliced and diced so many different ways by now that he can pretty much disassemble at will. lol
