Chapter: Comics
For some reason I couldn’t draw Biff’s face today. I spent way too much time trying to get it to look right but I just couldn’t get it. I decided that It was probably fine and I was making a big deal out of it. I finished the comic and showed it to my wife. “What’s wrong with his face?” So I went back and drew a brand new head and now it looks like Biff. Luckily you don’t have to see the original squished face version.

this is why they really should start making hypoallergenic glass bottles.
Well, this is an interesting comic (as a whole, I mean, not just this strip). I particularly enjoy the fact that my computer screen and browser settings seem to be exactly the right size to let me see the comic and then have to scroll down for the punchline. As long as I don’t look at the title, I can try to guess what happened. Thought for a moment he decided to add authentic mini-cannons in the bottle.
ugh i hate when that happens Chris. i swear every once in a while i’ll set down to work and find i can’t draw anything. i’ll try just getting a basic circlish shape for the head and can’t even do that. it’s most frustrating. anyway, comic came out great. love the coloring. 🙂
Tsuki – hey, that would have been a good one as well.
Calan – Thanks, I think it came out well in the end. 🙂
Hahaha, Tsuki’s idea is funnier.
He’s right ya know.
“Biff learns that miniature cannons in a bottle are considerably more dangerous than ships.”
Yes i do believe you should.
You now have a new reader from http://www.bobandgeorge.com and I must say…this comic is really, really great.
hey chris! ive just got here and this seems like a really cool where you can go to when u want to laugh! i also like how you draw. good job!
Thank you Tim and Nat.
I found this comic a little while ago, probably off of one of the many webcomics I read; BobandGeorge, Dominic-Deegan, Ansem-Retort, Misfile, and Red String(just to name a few) And fell in love with it. I feel like Biff and I have things in common;such as overcomplicating simple procedures, just not the extreme he takes it to.
You now have a devoted reader, congrats!
Thanks Keioko, it’s great getting new readers. I hope you don’t have too much in common with Biff though. 🙂
Ohh but it would have been soooooo pretty.
By the way does he ever clip his I brows?
He did once… way long time ago. Come to think of it, I wonder if he can do an “eyebrow wave…”
I just managed to fall off my chair with laughter, partly because of the comic, but partly because of the comments (bottle pirates!)
My caption: Biff learns that sugar glass should never be confused with the real variety.
Or: Biff learns not to leave soda next to his model ship kit. (Just add small metal pieces or something equally dissolvable, big bang.)
That looks both painful and funny- painfully funny. :note, from younger brother:
I personaly think biff looks good with a glass goatee 😛 but thats my opinion
I came from Bob and George too. I read a lot of sprite comics.
Same here, like pokemon x.
Wow. He’s got a powerful sneeze.
Frack! Now that everyone is talking about it, I can’t remember where I found this comic…all I remember is that it was a reference to the sword swallowing biff….
Why wasn’t it plexiglass…
i was in class once with my head bent over, cuz i wasnt paying attention…i sneezed really hard and hit my head on the desk…lets just say i wasnt able to live it down for at least a week…
just the thought of you doing that is making me lol…
wait ’til he sneezes again.
then he’ll have little pirates all over his face.
& a mast in his eye!
‘Cause people sneeze while building bottled-ships ALL the time.
Darn you, Biff. Have some common sense, man!
OMG! Biff mutated and grew glass spikes out of his head! The hole in the bottle came from his frustration at not being able put to the ship in, so he made his own hole, in which the ship DID fit!
That’s got to have been a very powerful sneeze.
Yeah… thats why abbandoned plastic models in favor of digital 3D. I swear I suffer the hayfever of a thousand hayfever sufferes…
Once, when I was 11-ish, I was running around my gramma’s yard, and sneezed midstride. Knee. To. The. FACE. >.<
