this discovery provided the critical evolutionary link connecting the modern day biff with it’s more remote evolutionary ancestors. as well, it finalized the taxonomic debate as to what definitive feature makes a biff a biff.
Oh my god. I found one of these in my backyard, but when I tried to turn it in to the local museum like the fine upstanding citizen I am, the curater told me, and I quote, “Quit throwing fish at me, you damn dirty hobo!” Or something like that.
I think he just splatted, like a bird on a window. He certainly has the right expression. Great comic, this is the first webcomic I have found that makes me laugh out loud.
The only way it would die is if it was eating flaming spaghetti and fell down some stairs and then was attacked by the vicious Toastsaurus and then exploded many times over
The only way to kill the archaeopterbiff is to shave the eyebrows and then it be attacked repeatedly by the vicious spaghettaisaur and the carnivorous toastasaurus for about 3 weeks
Actually, archaeopteryx has been found to have more avian than reptilian characteristics, and was probably just a species of bird that didn’t make it to our time. But it’s still cooler than any extant bird, reptile, or heck, fish, that you care to name.
Well that explains the eyebrow antennae. They are a vestigal leftover from a creature that used them to aid in directional flight and possibly as a mating display.
BIFF IS NOT IMMORTAL
Biff is a state of being
everybody on his planet experience being Biff at one time or another
once the Biffness runs out they experience the consequences of all events that happen as BiFF all at once which usually kills them
There is also a backup copy of his world that automatically goes into effect whever a Biff destroys it
This Biff state is also why we always see Biff with different houses and cars

J….i love your comment….that’s hilarious
I once thought I found a Biffstodon mammoth fossil in my backyard, but it turned out it was just a Biffican Bush elephant.
I love the pic! I love fossils, and your drawing is great – very graceful and nicely colored. š
Thank you very much Leigh.
nice touch with the whole eyebrows and really evident mouth!
Thanks Xim, I wasn’t sure about this one when I wrote it but it seems to have worked out š
I’m really curious as to how the archaeopterbiff died.
Is that anythig like an Archaeopteryx? š
>Iām really curious as to how the archaeopterbiff died.
More than likely by toast.
i found one of those in animal crossing once
Ohh, he has wings… Maybe he found out that the heat coming off the valcanoe wasnt from a hot spring?
Archaeopterbiff: Now I’ll lift my wings and sail over that cliff…
I think he just splatted, like a bird on a window. He certainly has the right expression. Great comic, this is the first webcomic I have found that makes me laugh out loud.
Archaeopterbiff learns that windows are usually transparent…?
I get it! While Biff evolved much physically, he didn’t evolve mentally. However, he was granted immortality, so he’s the last Biff.
That certainly explains why we dont see him shacking up with a she-Biff.
Biff. Single for Eternity.
You’d think that the thing would have been nigh-immortal like the modern Biff.
the first to go extinct
Hey look, it’s Biff’s great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great-grandpa!!!!
Lol….nice, Biff evolved from prehistoric bird.
I don’t see how any of the things that were mentioned could kill Biff, after all, nothing else seems to be able to!
Ahh, but this is a proto-Biff. Everyone knows there has to be a beta version before the real thing.
Archaeopterbiffs are nigh-invulnerable, they are known to have survived multiple mass extinction events, obviously, something really awesome happened.
looks like another revise of the Biff-species…
You missed a ‘great’.
….i grew up in Bavaria, Germany….mostly in Munich
I am now officially a Biff convert. This rocks!
BIFF IS NIGH-INVULNERABLE! NIGH I TELL YOU! NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is Archaeopterbiff made a wish.
Or maybe Biff just molted, and that fossil is the remains of his larva.

@ Pom Rania: stay off this site because you dare to show logic
Logic? Logic is my plaything, to use or abandon as I see fit.
Are you mocking me?
To Pom Rania: I think I love you.
well, we at least know why it’s dead.
This is like one of the only ones that don’t have biff in it
Wait dose this mean there are multiple Biffs?
@ Crazy Magnet: And now I hate you.
Well that explains the eyebrow antennae. They are a vestigal leftover from a creature that used them to aid in directional flight and possibly as a mating display.
DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITES
-2!
That would explain so much
I’m so glad that Dr. Mcninja led me to Biff. Its great to read while I’m waiting for my chicken Nuggets to finish cooking.
